Free workshop taking place on 16th November 2017, at the Applus+ Bellaterra (Barcelona) site.
Recent reforms of Spain’s Penal Code have not only brought about significant changes in the legal sphere, but also in the business sector. This is as a result of the establishment of the principle of corporate criminal responsibility for crimes carried out in the name of, on behalf of or for the benefit of a company, whether by individuals in positions of management or by employees. The reforms also establish the possibility of waiving or mitigating this responsibility where a company has a criminal risk management and crime prevention system in place.
UNE 19601: Management System for Criminal Compliance is a standard relating to the requirements set out in Law 1/2015 with respect to crime prevention models. It also includes examples of best international practice in the fields of social responsibility, compliance and risk management.
