GLOBALG.A.P. Important Changes: IFA v5.4-1-GFS

Until 22/01/2022, versions 5.2, 5.3-GFS, 5.4-1-GFS will remain in force. The first two (5.2 and 5.3-GFS) are without GFSI recognition, and version 5.4.1-GFS is the only one with GFSI recognition. As of 22/01/2022,  version 5.3-GFS will disappear. The date refers to the certification decision date, which means that the last audits on v5.3-GFS should be done before 23 December 2021. 

Choosing one version or the other for the renewal of the GLOBALG.A.P. certificate will be up to the producer and will depend on whether or not they need GFSI recognition for the sale of their products. 

Follow-up audits (to groups of producers), extensions or unannounced audits that are done during the current certificate cycle of each producer, will still be done in the same version in which the producer is certified. In other words, a company with a current IFA v5.3-GFS certificate until August 2022, will be able to do its follow-up audit in version 5.3-GFS in May without any problems.

The calendar with the courses that we will be giving soon, will be posted on our website. These courses will be both in-person and online and take place during the first semester of 2022.
